Dr. Edmond C. Hallberg received his Masters and Doctorate degrees from Stanford University. He was a Professor and Coordinator of Academic Advising at San Francisco State University. He became Professor and Dean of Students at California State University, Los Angeles. He was also Dean of Admissions at the University. He trained college counselors as a Professor of Higher Education Counseling. He is the author of several books, including Making the Dean's List and 30 articles, and has appeared on national television throughout the country. He has also trained college professionals throughout the country in areas of college success. He has developed web sites entitled College Success Factors Index, School Success Factors Index, SmartGrades, and Early Alert.

Kaylene Hallberg has an MS Degree from Azusa Pacific University in Student development. She has been a Dean of Counseling at Sierra and Cypress Colleges. Kaylene has been the statewide Dean of Students for the 110 California Community Colleges in California. She is also co-author of The College Success Factors Index, School Success Factors Index, SmartGrades, Early Alert, and Making the Dean's List. She is a national trainer in the areas of stress management and college success.
